Chhedup Bomzan spent more than half a dozen
season guiding and running operations for Tiger Tops
Safari Lodges both at Chitwan and Bardia National
Parks. He is a born leader and an avid naturalist.
He has a gentle respect for the environment and a
wealth of knowledge about Nepal's unique wildlife,
which he loves to share with the guides and
travelers. His love of the environment has given him
the desire to build a company that is
environmentally and culturally aware.
Samir Thapa has spent more than a decade guiding
rivers in Nepal, America and Papua New Guinea.He has
worked with many outfitters including Himalayan
Encounters in Nepal and American Adventure
Expeditions and Dvorak's on Colorado. He is one of
the most experienced and well-respected guides in
Nepal. By guiding in the States he has learnt what
true service entails and applies the same rigorous
standards here. He brings to drift nepal experience,
safety, and his much acclaimed culinary expertise!
KB Gurung hails from Chitwan by the banks of the
Narayani River. He was raised by the river and has
always worked on the rivers. He has spent the last 8
years guiding rivers in Nepal, Scotland and
Switzerland. From small beginnings he eventually
held the position of senior boatman with Himalayan
Encounters. KB is a thinker and is always coming up
with ways to perfect the product. "Running rivers
for other people for 8 years gets you thinking about
all the ways that you can improve the product and
the experience of your adventures."
